Damen has teamed up with compatriot company Verolme Special Equipment to tackle the issue of corrosion in exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) or scrubbers.
“The agreement arose from a mutual understanding that both parties’ clients were seeking wider availability of services for on board scrubber installations — either in port or underway,” the two companies said in a statement.
