Former Deutsche Bank shipping desk head Klaus Stoltenberg has joined Vikand Solutions' as a non-executive director.
The Florida-based company, which provides health care solutions for seafarers, said Stoltenberg brings "deep experience" in shipping in announcing the move on Tuesday.
"As we continue to grow our Vikand Direct Program to become the leading healthcare solution to the global maritime industry, Klaus’s understanding of a shipowner’s concerns for a safe shipping environment with a reduced operational impact and correlating claims cost is essential," said Vikand chief executive Peter Hult.
