A mix of Japanese shipowners, shipbuilders, steel makers, a research house and an engineering company have teamed up to form a carbon recycling working group.
The diverse mix comprises shipowner Mitsui OSK Lines, classification society ClassNK and shipbuilders Japan Marine United (JMU), Sanoyas Shipbuilding and Hitachi Zosen. Steel companies JFE Steel and Nippon Steel, engineering firm JGC Corp and think tank EX Research Institute are also involved.
