By day, Bogota-based Simon Hasslacher is North America manager for the shipping markets credit risk and counterparty checking company.

He moved to Bogota eight years ago with his Colombian wife when Infospectrum decided it needed an Americas office to bridge the time zones between Europe and Asia. He covers North America, while colleague Luciano Mezzalira handles South America.

In his spare time, Hasslacher is involved in Ozindas, a company that exports solid-bar gourmet drinking chocolate made from South American criollo and trinitario beans.
