Whitesea Shipping’s move into the offshore construction vessel sector back in 2010 has allowed the Sharjah-based company to keep its head above water in the challenging market conditions in Middle East offshore.
Whitesea’s 5,100-gt jack-up offshore construction vessel Rising Phoenix (built 2010) has been working a contract with Saudi Aramco for the past two years, and the outfit has also been managing several similar vessels — usually referred to as liftboats — for Singapore-based Ezion Holdings.
