Some brokers are linking the company with the purchase of a second kamsarmax in as many weeks. The 82,900-dwt Billion Trader (built 2005) is said to have gone for $12.65m.
Others identify Greece’s Vita Management as the buyer of the Tsuneishi-built ship. But a manager at the Piraeus-based company denies the reports.
“It wasn’t us who bought the ship,” he told TradeWinds.
