Greek operator Eurotankers’ 160,000-dwt tanker Eurohope (built 1999) was arrested in Singapore on Monday by a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based oil trader, which claims to have suffered damages because a fixture it lined up to carry a load of crude from rebel-held eastern Libya was cancelled.
