Electronic data show that Excelerate Energy’s 150,900-cbm FSRU Explorer (built 2008) arrived back at the Dubai Supply Authority (Dusup)-controlled facility this week after undergoing work at nearby Drydocks World yard in Dubai.

The job undertaken on Explorer included the addition of cargo-offloading gear which has been housed on the vessel’s stern. The intention is to use this in conjunction with newly installed jetty-based kit to allow Dusup to offer LNG bunkering services at its terminal.
