Ifchor makes tanker debut
One of the world’s largest dry-cargo shipbrokers has finally made a move into the tanker business.
Swiss brokerage Ifchor, led by Riccardo Ravanno and family, is diversifying with a new tanker-broking wing.
The Lausanne-based shop has taken on eight brokers to run Ifchor Tankers.
The office will be run via an eight-strong desk in Genoa comprising five brokers headed by Stefano Becker and Erik Roveta and three operations staff.
