South Korea’s Sinokor Merchant Marine is poised to boost its LNG carrier fleet to seven vessels with the purchase of three 30-year-old-plus vessels controlled by producer Nigeria LNG (NLNG).

Brokers indicate Sinokor has emerged as the buyer of the 122,000-cbm, membrane-type LNG Port Harcourt (built 1976) and LNG Lagos (built 1977), along with the 126,530-cbm, Moss-type LNG Edo (built 1980).
