The appointment marks a return for 48-year-old Modig, who was trafficmanager at Bore Line between 1988 and 1992.
He willre-join at the end of August, replacing Thomas Franck, who will become seniorvice president of special assignments within the parent Rettig group until hisretirement at the end of this year.
Modigjoined Finnlines from Bore in 1992 and has worked his way up the organisationever since.
