DP World has announced the appointment of its chairman as the new CEO while reporting strong numbers for 2015.

The global terminal operator handled 61.7m teu from January to December, an increase of 3% compared to last year.

All of its hubs worldwide reported bigger numbers and new capacity was added, DP World said.
