Tersan Shipyard of Turkey has won a contract to build two innovative ferries for Norway’s Fjord1.
The Norwegian company is building the battery-powered ships that will be deployed on the west coast of Norway.
With the capacity to carry up to 120 cars, 12 trailers and 349 passengers, the ferries will be able to charge their batteries through fully automatic charging stations at the quayside.
