Maersk Line has shaken up its Asia Europe offering in its latest effort to cut costs and boost efficiency.
The world's largest container line says it is eliminating overlapping port pairs to boost transit times and reduce spending.
Johan Sigsgaard, head of FEA-NEU trade at Maersk Line, says the plan aims to improve overall reliability and transit times into Germany and Holland in particular.
