Qatari shipowner Milaha has launched the first ever direct feeder service between its home country and Kuwait.
The weekly service, which will run between Qatar’s Hamad Port and Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait, will use a 515-teu vessel with 50 reefer plugs.
The Kuwait Qatar Express Service (KQX) is said to be targeting the transportation of perishable products and food stuff, among other cargoes.
