Seaspan Shipyards named Mark Lamarre, a shipping executive with over 30 years experience, as the new chief executive, effective immediately.
Lamarre succeeds Brian Carter, who stepped down from his role to pursue other opportunities, Seaspan said.
Lamarre’s appointment comes soon after hiring Jari Anttila as chief operating officer and Christof Brass as chief financial officer for the Vancouver-based boxship owner.
