TOTE Maritime says its masters are adjusting their sailing schedules as Hurricane Matthew is set to hit Haiti, Jamaica and Cuba.
A ship owned by TOTE will leave Jacksonville for Puerto Rico and another will leave San Juan for Jacksonville, First Coast News (FCN) reported.
But TOTE Services, the management arm of the Saltchuk-controlled shipowner, said that the US Coast Guard has issued advisories directing all ships of more than 500 gt to make plans to depart port ahead of the storm.
