2020 Bulkers has taken two more newcastlemax ships out of index-linked charters and into fixed-rate hires for the next seven months.

The move means the shipowner has temporarily put its whole operating fleet into charters with fixed-payment structures, eschewing charters linked to spot market rates.

The Oslo Axess-listed company said the 208,000-dwt Bulk Sandefjord (built 2019) has been locked into a charter from June to December at nearly $14,400 per day gross.
