Belships has moved one of its older ultramaxes to a Norwegian KS (limited partnership) company and replaced it with a newer model.
Chief executive Lars Christian Skarsgard confirmed to TradeWinds that the 63,000-dwt Belpareil (built 2015) is in the process of being sold. He did not disclose the buyer but did say it was organised using the KS structure.
Broker reports suggested the ship is being sold for $29.5m,
