The demolition market for large bulkers is still busy as ships continue to hit the sales block, but coronavirus is creating increasing problems.
In some cases, ships are being pulled from the market.
Take the 175,800-dwt China Steel Excellence and China Steel Growth (both built 2002).
China Steel Express had put them up for sale, with offers this week for delivery in Singapore.
