Turkey’s Yasa Shipping has returned to China for a further kamsarmax newbuilding just weeks after swooping on a pair of similar bulkers under construction in the country.
Broker reports, shipbuilding sources and IHS Markit data indicate the Istanbul-based company is the new owner of the 84,800-dwt SDTR Bella (built 2021).
The bulker is being built at Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding and was ordered for about $30m.
