Greece's Bulkseas Marine Management confirmed the purchase of its first capesize vessel and said the company is keen on buying a few more, if it can get the right price for them.
Company managers at the Stavros Meimetis-led company said the outfit has agreed to buy the 177,600-dwt Bulk India (built 2004) from Japan's Nissen Kaiun.
The deal was agreed about three weeks ago at a price of $14.2m.
