Okeanis Eco Tankers (OET) has attracted some known shipping investors, with some bringing new ideas to the table while others have involved a relationship with more friction.

Most recently, QVT Financial, a US fund led by Dan Gold, increased its stake in OET to 7.65% last month, cementing its position as the Oslo-listed company’s second-largest shareholder after the Alafouzos family, which controls nearly 57%.
