Italy’s Ignazio Messina is paying top dollar to continue its push into container ship ownership.
The Genoa-based liner operator has purchased another traditional panamax, the 4,400-teu ALS Clivia (built 2010), with delivery in the coming days.
The vessel has been purchased from Singapore and Hamburg-managed Asiatic Lloyd & Atlantic Lloyd (AL&AL).
