MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company accounted for nearly half of the growth of the global container fleet last year.
The Geneva-based carrier added more than 1m teu of capacity over the past twelve months, according to Alphaliner.
That amounts to 47.4% of total boxship fleet growth, the analyst said.
