A German containership has been successfully auctioned in Gibraltar.
TradeWinds understands the undisclosed reserve price was exceeded and a deposit lodged for the 957-teu feeder unit Spica (built 2008).
The new owner has not been revealed.
The Gibraltar supreme court had authorised the auction of the vessel last month.
