Seanergy Maritime Holdings has tied up its latest capesize addition on a long-term charter for a good daily rate.
The bulker owner said the 179,213-dwt Partnership (built 2012) has been fixed to a European utility and energy company for 12 to 18 months.
Seanergy acquired Partnership as Dong-A Artemis for $32.5m in March from South Korea’s Dong-A Tanker.
The company did not disclose the rate but TradeWinds understands Seanergy will be earning $16,200 per day for the vessel.
