Norwegian mini-bulker owner Wilson has taken control of six vessels it was chartering from compatriot Stromberg Group.
It said it was paying a total price NOK 94m ($11.2m) for the ships.
With mortgage debt assumed by Wilson, it will issue shares at NOK 23.72 each to settle the remaining NOK 39m.
This will give Stromberg a 3.75% holding.
Time charters for the bulkers began at the start of 2017.
