Angelicoussis family company Alpha Bulkers is believed to have been the buyer of a long-idled capesize auctioned in China earlier this month.
As TradeWinds reported last week, unknown Greek interests picked up the 179,800-dwt Five Stars Beijing (built 2010) in an online sale for CNY 158.4m ($23.1m).
Brokers based in Athens and the US this week identified Alpha as the buyer.
