Shipowner John Fredriksen is worth 15% more in 2018 than a year ago, according to Norwegian magazine Kapital.
His fortune has increased to NOK 113bn ($13.8bn) from NOK 98bn, according to Kapital, which does not detail the reason for jump in value.
This figure means Fredriksen is worth more than twice as much as the second richest Norwegian.
“They have got it wrong,” Fredriksen told TradeWinds after the release of the figures.
