Concordia Maritime has secured a refinancing package for its fleet of P-MAX tankers after signing deals with new and existing banks.

The $189m bundle refinances a loan on the tankers that had been set to mature in June next year.

Kim Ullman, chief executive of Concordia, said: “It’s a terrific deal and we are very happy with it.”

The refinancing is split across two fresh loans, Concordia announced today.
