Cosco Shipping Ports' half-year results have soared on the wings of sustained economic growth and increased trade volume fueled mostly by China.
The Wei Zhang-led company posted adjusted net profit of $169m for the first six months of this year, up 70% from a year earlier.
Revenue jumped 80% to $496m, based on volume throughput gaining 26.5% to 56.7 million teu.
