Simon Doughty has quit as chief executive of third-party shipmanagement company Wallem Group.

Doughty's decision comes amid a wish to leave Hong Kong and return home to be with his daughters and ageing parents, a statement said.

Nigel Hill, chairman of Wallem, said Jennifer Curtis at Cripps Sears in London is handling the search for a replacement.

Doughty will remain in the post until a successor is found.
