Dutch bank ING has logged a reduction in additions to loan loss provisions in the third quarter.
The figure to 30 September was EUR 124m ($144m) from EUR 265m in 2016.
This figure is equivalent to risk costs and includes loan write-offs and recoveries.
At the end of the nine month period, non-performing loans made up 2% of its book, down from 2.1%
