The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (Nimasa) has not made any payments since March to a shipping company that has supplied it with 18 vessels.

Acting Nimasa director general Haruna Jauro blamed the delays involving Global West on the removal of Calistus Obi from the top job by the government.
