Singapore-based Transport Capital has been on a recruitment drive over the past two years, with key hires from across the maritime ecosystem carefully selected to steer the company into fresh sectors while forging a global presence.

Launched in 2013 by ship finance veteran Philip Clausius, the outfit started as a boutique financial advisory and asset investment management company focused on small to medium-size private shipping companies.

They remain the company’s core clients and business streams, but its growth strategy has seen it branch out into shipbroking and venture capital.
