Indonesia’s Samudera Shipping has made less in the first three months of the year on the back of lower revenue.

The diversified shipowner saw after tax profit chopped to $2.9m in the first quarter, compared to $6.1m a year earlier.

Its revenue declined by 15% to 68.1m, reflecting lower contribution from all operating segments.

The turnover from its bulk and tanker business was $7.6m,
