Mitsui E&S Holdings has reported improved shipbuilding sales although profitability in the division continues to be weak.
According to Mitsui E&S’ latest figures in the first nine months of fiscal 2018 it registered ship sales of JPY 83.2bn ($758m) compared to JPY 54.1bn in the same period in the previous year.
However operating profit in its shipbuilding division slipped.
