Russian producer Novatek and Belgian gas infrastructure company Fluxys have teamed up to build a new LNG terminal in Germany.
They have signed a land-lease agreement with Rostock Port for the mid-scale transhipment facility.
Novatek said a new joint venture will design, construct, finance, own and operate the terminal, which will have a capacity of 300,000 tons per year.
