A first floating storage and regasification unit for the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad is due to arrive next week.

The Arc4 ice-class, 170,000-cbm newbuilding Marshal Vasilevskiy, which was contracted by Gazpromflot, passed through the Suez Canal early this week and is expected on site at the Baltic Sea port around 14 to 16 December.

A naming ceremony has been scheduled to mark the arrival of the FSRU, which is a strategic unit to give security of supply to Kaliningrad.
