Christos Economou-controlled TMS Cardiff Gas is poised to fix one of its two remaining, speculatively ordered LNG carrier newbuildings on a long-term charter.
Speaking to TradeWinds, Economou said: “We are in advanced discussions to put one of our newbuildings to a customer for 10 years.”
He did not give any details of the charterer or when the business would likely be concluded.
