ABS says its in a joint development programme with start-up LNG bunker player Probunkers to provide technical support for a fleet of specialist LNG bunker vessels.
The programme includes ABS providing regulatory compliance guidance for the fleet and defining applicable rules and standards.
ABS will also address technical issues such as capacity and dimensions of the vessels in relation to port restrictions, required power and speed, propulsion and steering systems.
