Norway’s Hoegh LNG is trying to secure short-term employment starting in mid-2018 for its next up floating storage and regasification newbuilding as project delays lengthen for some of its vessels.

Speaking in a results briefing today Hoegh president and chief executive Sveinung Stohle said the company is “working on an interim agreement” for its eighth FSRU newbuilding in advance of the vessel's planned long-term contract for Chilean project GNL Penco.
