An order for an LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV) newbuilding announced by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) is connected to Spanish utility Enagas’ subsidiary Scale Gas.
Sources said the 12,500-cbm LNGBV unveiled by the yard on 3 February is an optional berth secured when Scale Gas and bunker supplier Peninsula signed a contract last June for a similar-sized vessel for use in the Strait of Gibraltar.
