Titan LNG orders its first ‘FlexFueler’

Dutch Titan LNG has contracted its first LNG bunkering pontoon in Europe.

Titan said the its barge-based ‘FlexFueler1’ will be fully operational from the third quarter of 2018.

The unit will be stationed at an as-yet-undisclosed location in the Port of Amsterdam from where it will supply inland water barges and small seagoing vessels.

Titan also plans to serve larger seagoing vessels throughout the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region by deploying a push boat to move the FlexFueler into position alongside the bigger ships while they are in port.
