GoodBulk has made its first confirmed acquisition of 2018, picking up a capesize bulker from the secondhand market.
The John Michael Radziwill-led shipowner said it had agreed to acquire a 2007 built, 174,000-dwt vessel built by China’s Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding.
“The vessel is expected to be delivered to the company in June 2018, and is expected to be funded with cash on hand and availability under existing credit facilities,” it said.
