Britannia P&I is making its Copenhagen base a full branch office of the protection and indemnity club from 1 January as it seeks to expand its team there.
The office had previously operated on an exclusive correspondent basis under the name B Denmark P&I.
It will be renamed TR(B) Denmark and continue to be headed by Michael Boje-Larsen, a lawyer with considerable experience in maritime law, including P&I cover, Britannia said.
