The West of England has bought a major stake in Swedish marine delay insurance provider Nordic Marine Insurance as a part of its diversification strategy.
The London-based protection and indemnity mutual said it had acquired Finland’s Alandia Insurance’s shareholding in Nordic Marine.
The club said the acquisition was a “significant stake”, without revealing the number of shares or price of the deal.
