The new boss of BBC Chartering — the world’s largest multipurpose (MPP) vessel operator — has put fleet renewal at the top of his agenda.
Chief executive Ulrich Ulrichs has outlined a series of measures that the Leer-based operator is undertaking to renew its fleet and maintain the size of its owned and chartered fleet at about 160 MPP and heavylift vessels.
