Keppel Corp has boosted its earnings for the first quarter of 2017 as its offshore and marine division broke even.
The Singapore-listed group reported quarterly profit of SGD 260m ($186.1m), compared to SGD 211m in the corresponding period of 2016.
Amidst the continuing downturn in the company’s shipbuilding activities, the offshore and marine segment saw its revenue almost halved from SGD 818m to SGD 483m.
